I began dancing when I was just 2, starting with classical ballet. Over the years, I explored modern jazz and eventually discovered contemporary dance, which felt like a revelation to me. Movement has always been my first language. I also studied piano at the Conservatory of Reims from the age of 4 to 15. I’ve always had a deep love for the arts — especially for performance and music, which have shaped my identity and creative expression. In addition to my artistic practice, I’m passionate about learning languages and exploring different cultures through travel. I am Eelam Tamil. My parents fled the Tamil genocide in Sri Lanka and found refuge in France. I’m deeply proud of my Tamil heritage, and a central part of my work is to honor and amplify my culture and the history of my people. My practice is both political and poetic — I strive to create work that tells stories, sparks dialogue, and connects people.
